Requirements for babysitter Nanny / Housekeeper We are a happy energetic family of 4 + 1 dog. My eldest son is 12. He is very reasonable, quiet and loves tennis and scouts. Our 9 years old daughter is dynamic as well as very sensitive, she loves drawing and would like to start the piano. The 5 years old boy is the clown of the family and even though he is very mature, he is still young and needs some attention. Children speak French, but the nanny they had last year only spoke English. I am now separated from my wife and we have the children 50% of the time each. I am travelling a lot to Estonia (where I am running my company). Then, I really need someone to run our busy and active family! This also means that 1 week will be extremely active and busy while the other one will be quite quiet as you would be alone in the house with the dog. Does this sound like something for you? Job description • Children care: - Morning: Breakfast, helping the youngest to get dressed, preparing sandwiches for lunch, driving them to school; - Picking them up at school in the evening; - Dinner, bath and go to bed; - Driving to activities (dance, tennis, scouts…); - On Wednesday afternoon, bringing them to playground… • Housekeeping: - 2 hours cleaning of the house every day; - Grocery shopping; - Cooking meals; - Laundry…. The job might not be limited only to these tasks. Key skills • You are reliable, solution-oriented, organised, attention to detail; • You have strong ethical values; • Parenting skills: nice, gentle with sense of humour, you also have knowledge of when to discipline someone. • You are keen to work in a very international/multi-cultural environment. • Highly proficient in English, knowledge of French is considered as an advantage; • Valid driving licence; • EU Citizenship + Isikukood • You are keen on working abroad (Belgium). We offer • Full-time job (Estonian contract) in the city centre (Brussels, Belgium). • Free board and lodging; • 10 months position, from September/October 2018 to June 2019; • Free week-ends or compensation; • Fair salary; • You will also join us for school holidays (skiing in February, and countryside or seaside for Easter).
